The Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HPCB), on October 13, 2025, notified a timeline of 21 working days for processing and deciding applications for various Board clearances, including consent and authorisation.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Board vide office order endst. No. HSPCB/2018/479-503 dated February 26, 2018, has ordered to process and decide all the applications received for grant of clearances under Water Act, 1974, Air Act, 1981 and various Rules notified under EPA, 1986, within 30 days in case the applications received are complete and within maximum 45 days in case the application submitted by the units are found incomplete which includes the additional time for seeking the clarification and additional information from the units.
• The Government of India has taken steps to improve the Ease of Doing Business by constituting a Task Force and establishing a Deregulation Cell in the Cabinet Secretariat to systematically undertake deregulation, reduce the compliance burden, streamline and digitize systems, processes, and information in all the States and Union Territories.
• These orders shall apply to the applications received on or after November 01, 2025.
